It's been a long week!!!

It seems to me like this week has been a really long one. As I mentioned earlier, my family has been sick since Sunday. I've been feeling really tired but is doing much better today than I have since Sunday. It's not easy to be sick, and taking care of sick people in the same time. I am grateful for Marc who has been really helpful at taking turn once he got better and was back home from work so I could just sleep and try to get as much rest as I could.

Yann was doing really good until yesterday morning when he started vomiting. For the first time ever in a long long time, I felt really overwhelmed, angry and somewhat ticked off. Woke up early yesterday morning to clean up my sick baby, then rush to take a shower so I can go to my doctor's appointment looking clean and fresh. As I was about to leave, my son vomited on me which meant that I had to rush back to wash myself, change clothes and go to the doctor's office. Thank goodness Marc came home to look after the little one so I didn't have to worry about cleaning him. Once at the office, the secretary tells me that my name wasn't in her system and she is not sure if I really had an appointment. That, of course, didn't make me happy at all. She started being rude and raised her voice a little, so I did what I usually DO NOT DO, I served her back some of her rudeness dish, and she finally was able to figure out why she couldn't find me in her system. Those secretaries should really learn how to better their communication plan so they don't have to waste some people's precious time. To top it of, some strange man kept staring at me as if I was a creep or something, so I looked back at him and asked him if he wanted a picture of me. He stopped his staring and went back to looking at the floor. Not my proudest moment, trust me but I just couldn't help it. I NEVER ever do that. I always try to be so polite and respectful. Anyway!!! Almost 2 hours later, I was back home, and was able to see how my son was doing, and continued on looking after him.

This morning, Yann had a really high fever, so Marc gave him a bath, to help cool down the temperature, and kept giving him some liquid to keep him hydrated. He is feeling a bit better now, and has stopped vomiting since yesterday afternoon. He can eat some food but is not really being his ogre self, :). One thing I have to say about my baby boy is that, even when he is really sick, he still manages to find some time to play, laugh and keep smiling until he gets tired and comes to me for a snuggle and a nap.

I am grateful for the WONDERFUL husband/father that Marc is. He truly is a caring man who loves his family, and does whatever he can to make life better for either Yann or myself. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH.

Taken yesterday. Was still vomiting and all
but managed to do some walking. Getting better everyday.
