4 weeks old!

Our baby is 4 weeks old today. It's amazing how time just flew by. We look at him all day (literally all day, lol), and can't believe how much he has changed already. We can never have enough of him. We find him so darn cute that our hearts literally melt away even when he is screaming as if we pinched him or something, lol.

Baby doesn't like to be bathed, and is getting better at having his diaper changed. Changing his diaper can be quite a race. Yes, a race! Race against him sprinkling us, or the walls (even the floor sometimes) with his "built in sprinkler". It can be quite funny at times :). Yann still wakes up every 2 hours to be fed. He eats quite a lot. When he feels like it, he lets me sleep for 3 to 4 hours BUT that doesn't happen a lot. The only positive thing about waking up every 2 hours is the fact that I get to see a lot of the cute things he does with his little mouth when he sleeps, or see him do the cutest things with his hands.

I like the fact that he stays awake a lot during the day, so I can entertain him with my NOT so good singing voice, lol. I sing him songs from my childhood which is fun to do. Sometimes, I even change the words, lol.

The first week of motherhood was probably the hardest one for me. I enjoy being my baby's mom. He brings me so much joy even when I look like a zombie and feel like I am half asleep, lol.

Yann is a tough baby, well, we think so. A couple weeks ago, he underwent a minor surgery. The doctor said that he would be fussing a lot but that didn't happen. He seems to tolerate pain really well (he gets it from me, hihi).

We love our son. Every day, we try to fight the urge to snuggle with him all day long without ever wanting to put him down, lol. So far, so good!!! Life is so AWESOME!!!
