After I finished framing :)
On the wall in baby's room. Wall by the windows.
Here's the label for the stuffed animals basket, lol.
I need to get another wooden toy to fill the empty cube, hihi. I love wooden toys.
Once that was done, I decided to finally do my baby wreath. I used yarn, and a whole bunch of cardboard animals (and others) decorations that I got at the scrapbook store. The glue gun was really effective for this little project. I didn't buy any foam wreath. What I did is use a foam form that came with the changing pad I got a while ago, then shaped the form to make it look like a wreath, I know I am so cheap, lol. I wrapped the yarn around the wreath and went on gluing. I used a dotted ribbon to hang the wreath on the door. The back ground paper I used in the framed art has dots on it, so I thought it will all kind of flow together :).
Note: The foam I used wasn't really big around, so the wreath doesn't really look big and bulky. Maybe I'll get a REAL wreath at Michael's when we go to Edmonton next week, we'll see!
If you noticed, there are a lot of elephants, monkeys, lions in my crafts. We decided to go with a jungle theme for baby's room.
I still have a few crafts that I want to do for my baby's room. I have to finished the book ends we started to do. Also, I want to frame 3 more artsy craft papers to put on the wall where the crib is. The baby's room has a really warm mood to it, and I thought that I would use colors in the accessories.
Here's a picture of the unfinished book ends. What I did is buy some cheap wooden letters cubes at the dollar store, then glued them together. I just need to buy some MDF to glue the letters on to make the shape of the book ends, so that it would be heavy enough to hold the books.
I have enjoyed my day today :))))
I love everything!! I never knew you were so crafty! I really like your theme, and the picture you made, so so cute!!
ReplyDeleteThank You Lara! I like to craft when I can. There's a new scrapbook store here in Lloyd. My favorite so far. I'm thinking about taking classes there, so I can learn some new tricks, hihi!!! Thanks again :).
